Career Exploration Day

The Bridges Career Exploration Day started in 2008 with 57 exhibitors and more than 750 students from six area school districts. Now, this annual event showcases more than 200 regional high-demand careers with hands-on demonstrations, simulators, and breakout sessions, and is held at Central Lakes College's Brainerd campus.

Students interact with different companies to learn about local careers, their work environment, necessary skill sets, earning potential and the training needed to become employed.

Next year's event will be IN-PERSON on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Central Lakes College in Brainerd.

Search for the top occupations in our region, or learn more about available career options to better understand employment options.

What sets the Bridges Career Exploration Day apart is the professionals that volunteer their time, year after year, engaging with students about their career fields, are focusing their conversations on the career and not their actual place of business they work at. It is truly one-of-a-kind experience.
