Career Exploration Day

The Bridges Career Exploration Day started in 2008 with 57 exhibitors and more than 750 students from six area school districts. Now, this annual event showcases more than 200 regional high-demand careers with hands-on demonstrations, simulators, and breakout sessions.  It is anticipated that the 2022 event will be able to happen in person, again, and is slated to be on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Central Lakes College's Brainerd campus.

Students interact with different companies to learn about local careers, their work environment, necessary skill sets, earning potential and the training needed to become employed.

Search for the top occupations in our region, or learn more about available career options to better understand employment options.

What sets the Bridges Career Exploration Day apart is the professionals that volunteer their time, year after year, engaging with students about their career fields, are focusing their conversations on the career and not their actual place of business they work at. It is truly one-of-a-kind experience.
